VANRATH are delighted to be representing an award-winning and industry leading manufacturer, that now have an opening for a Buyer due to an internal promotion. You will be joining a booming industry with my client having an impressive order book for 2022/2023.
The ideal person:
- 1-2 years recent and similar experience
- Previous supply chain background within manufacturing
- Strong excel skills
- Sage experience
As the Buyer, duties will include:
- Oversee purchasing from process from order to production
- Aim to improve cost, quality and supply when possible
- Closely monitor materials availability and effectively manage shortages
- Negotiate with suppliers on price and analyse performance
