About your next employer
You'll be working within the Supply Chain team, reporting directly to the Supply Chain Team Leader, and collaborating across operations, logistics, and production functions.
About you
- Minimum of 3 GCSEs including English & Maths (or equivalent)
- At least 3 years' experience in a purchasing role
- Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
- Ideally working towards CIPS or holding a third-level qualification
- Previous purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
What you'll do
- Manage daily purchasing activities including order placement, expediting, and issue resolution
- Negotiate prices and commercial terms, ensuring cost control and value for money
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitoring performance and delivery
- Support stock control, material shortages, and ERP system accuracy
- Liaise with internal teams to meet procurement needs and support production schedules
