Business Development Manager (Packaging)(Car)

Job Description

VANRATH have partnered with a leading importer and distributor of Packaging Machinery and Packaging Materials - the company is seeking to add a Business Development Manager to the team.

The successful candidate will work at a modern Craigavon-based Office, with a mix of field and remote work.

This is a fantastic opportunity for any BDM or Sales experienced individual to join a rapidly expanding company that offers routes for progression.

Salary

£30,000 - £40,000 + bonus - Company car, hybrid working opportunity and more.

In this role you will report into senior management / director level. You will be responsible for both developing existing relationships and creating new business within existing and growth markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Acquiring new business
  • Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives
  • Identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling solutions
  • Prepare Sales Contracts
  • Working to and exceeding KPI's and Targets set by the company
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Maintain strong sales administration including use of CRM/Salesforce to follow up all leads, enquiries/quotes
  • Maintain and develop existing accounts whilst also identifying new business opportunities and extending the customer base.
  • You will be an effective negotiator, with the ability to actively build strong relationships via first class communication and influencing skills
  • Be able to illustrate a recent track-record of success in meeting sales targets.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in sales within a packaging or related industry.
  • Effective planning and organisational skills
  • Enjoys and thrives in pursuing business opportunities
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Full driving licence
