VANRATH are assisting an accountancy firm with the recruitment of a Business Development Manager.
We are looking for a highly driven, target/KPI focused salesperson who thrives in a competitive environment and consistently goes the extra mile to win new business.
This is a permanent - Full-Time position based out of a Belfast office, with field visits.
Salary
£40,000 - £50,000 basic + benefits package + Mileage + High OTE (enquire within) + Development and progression opportunities
Responsibilities:
- Drive new business opportunities across multiple sectors.
- Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships.
- Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Deliver tailored proposals and presentations to win business.
- Collaborate with marketing and operations on targeted campaigns.
- Represent the company at client meetings, networking events, and industry functions.
- Track pipeline progress and report on revenue targets.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities with existing clients.
- Contribute to improving business development processes.
Ideal Person:
- Proven track record in business development or sales with consistent target achievement (ideally from accountancy, financial or professional services)
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to spot market opportunities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
- Skilled at building rapport quickly and managing long-term relationships.
- Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Northern Ireland when required.
