Reporting to the International Sales Director, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with dealers/customers, and growing the company's revenue.

Salary/ Benefits
In order to attract the very best talent on the market a generous remuneration package is on offer for this position of £40,000-£50,000. In addition to this, the position comes with a range of fantastic benefits and great opportunities for career progression.

Responsibilities

  • Manage existing dealers effectively and in a robust way, through company performance management tools
  • Manage sales and forecasting for the territory ensuring quarterly revenue and margin targets are achieved.
  • Manage dealer order patterns, backlog scheduling providing regional information for business SO&P process
  • Manage dealer credit facilities ensuring financial coverage for market requirements.
  • Develop commercial tools to assist dealer and direct sales initiatives.
  • Prospect new dealers for territories and markets segments not adequately covered
  • Collect, analyse, and maintain intelligence of the assigned markets with emphasis on the factors affecting company and develop strategies to ensure continued YoY growth for the company brand
  • Collect, analyse, and maintain specialist knowledge of the culture and methods prevailing in the market and identify how company might operate within existing conditions or influence those of the future.
  • Collect and analyse market data to assist the development of business strategies and means by which business levels might be increased.
  • Report business activities in accordance with current methods.
  • Comply with the Company's formal management documentation, H&S, Compliance and DE&I initiatives.
  • Ensure Company policies and procedures are adhered to as defined in the Integrated Management Systems documentation and statutory requirements.
  • Identify any specific problem areas and report preventive actions.
  • Be a key contributor to the company Global Sales & Marketing team
  • Attend and coordinate seminars, product demos and other sales activities as required
  • Communicate new product launches, product changes implementation as well as pricing policy
  • Make Presentations to end-user customers and key corporate accounts
  • Coordinate sales training for dealer' sales force
  • Report as agreed timetable all market movements, trends, competition activities, etc.
  • Provide market feedback on New Product Development

The Ideal Person

  • Degree in an appropriate engineering or business discipline or 5 years cumulative experience in a similar position.
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, financial knowledge, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to generate business plans and present business modeling scenarios.
  • Substantial experience in the business development arena of B2B sales of capital and industrial goods and services.
