Our client is a rapidly expanding international consultancy supporting pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device organisations across the UK and Europe. With a reputation for excellence and growth, they are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to join their field based sales in Belfast and drive new business opportunities across Northern Ireland.

The requirements:

  • 1-3 years' experience in sales, business development within life sciences or medical sales.
  • Confident communicator comfortable engaging with senior professionals
  • Previous field based or face to face sales experience is ideal
  • Experienced in using LinkedIn for research and prospecting
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Autonomous, resilient, and target-driven mindset
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Full UK driving license.

The role:

  • Regular customer visits with 3 days on the road.
  • Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to identify and qualify potential leads.
  • Research and build targeted account lists within medical sector across Northern Ireland.
  • Attend introductory client meetings, gaining valuable consultative sales experience
  • Maintain detailed records of all activities within the CRM system, supporting follow-ups and proposals
  • Represent the company at local networking events, building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with marketing to enhance campaigns and share market insights
