Job Description

A challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join an ambitious arms-length Public Sector organisation delivering award-winning services to more than 900,000 members of the general public annually.

Employment package:

  • £28,700 starting salary
  • Full-Time, Mon-Fri
  • 37 hrs per week
  • Fixed Term Contract with the possibility of permanency

Your profile:

  • A relevant degree (e.g. business or marketing) and two years' experience in a sales or business development role, ideally within a services environment.

OR

  • Three years' experience in a sales or business development role, ideally within a services environment.

AND

  • Demonstrable record of enhancing business sales performance.
  • Demonstrable record of enhancing and developing a client base and organisational reputation.

What the role involves:
Reporting to the Head of Experience & Enterprise Development the post will also play a key role in maintaining the Organisation's presence in all aspects of venue hire and the tourism business market.

The post holder will be expected to develop opportunities for new business as they arise and be responsive to the potential in the market.

The post holder will also be responsible for supporting the operational elements of the Membership offer across the Organisation. Working closely with other colleagues and acting as the primary point of contact for current and future Members.
