Business Development & Marketing Executive - (Global Firm)

VANRATH are assisting with the recruitment of a Business Development Executive for a leading global law firm.

This role is Hybrid Working (3 Days in Belfast City Centre (State of the Art Office) + 2 days Working From Home)

This is a Monday - Friday position. Initially this will be a 12-month contract.. High likelihood of permanency dependent on performance.

Responsibilities

As a Business Development Executive, you will work with with the Senior Managers for Global Experts & Markets (GEM) function and Africa and lead partners on their client development plans. You will also support with pitches and contribute product and market insight into cross-practice and cross-border pitches. You will help to coordinate practical marketing support for profile raising activities, such as speaking at industry conferences, appropriate events and hospitality, and support partners in preparation for client visits.

The Ideal Person

• Proven Marketing / Business Development experience gained in a professional services environment.
• Enthusiasm to develop an understanding of the GM practice (in terms of the market, the deals, the key players, the competition, and the actual structures and approaches involved in this area).
• Good communication skills - both written and oral.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills - with partners, key associates, and business development colleagues, clients and suppliers.
