VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting a Business Analyst for one of our best clients, a large Utilities organisation based in Belfast. This Business Analyst role is fixed term will run for 12 months. Reporting into the Senior Manager, this post is 34.5 hours per week.

The role will be hybrid with a split week between being office based and working remotely.

What you'll do:

  • Perform a key business support role in the running of Group procurement and re-procurement processes.
  • Ensuring all aspects of a procurement process are addressed (Legal, Financial, Technical and Commercial) and delivering the best outcomes for the Business.
  • Production of weekly and monthly updates for Senior Management on procurements, contracts and BAU activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with partners / suppliers of our business contracts, to ensure we are jointly delivering excellent service to our customers.
  • Seek new ideas and techniques which will improve service delivery and customer expectations.
  • Maintain the contracts register on the data site.
  • Obtain monthly updates from stakeholders and ensure the most relevant information is stored on the database.
  • Provide ad hoc business analyst expertise to relevant business projects.
  • Provide ad hoc assistance to the Finance Team with queries relating to our contracts / suppliers

About you:

  • At least 1 years' proven recent experience of working in a similar role.
  • Demonstrable experience in the proficient use of Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel.
  • Proven time management and communication skills.
  • Experience running or assisting with the running of procurement processes.
  • Experience using ProjectFusion portal.
  • Experience working in a similar role in the Energy or Utility industry
