My client is searching for a Business Analyst to join their rapidly expanding team within the financial, energy, and commodities market. As a leading provider of services globally, they collaborate with numerous clients, including banks, insurance companies, pension and hedge funds, energy producers, and others.

As a Technical Business Analyst (TBA), you will work closely with the Business, Corporate, and Technology teams to gather, comprehend, and document functional and non-functional needs. With a focus on the capital markets, it is crucial for you to possess extensive knowledge in this field.

The ideal candidate should be able to utilise advanced business principles while ensuring user stories, milestones, and roadmaps are effectively used to capture requirements. The TBA's primary focus will be on Complex Order Management and Deal Management Systems, including interaction with Enterprise Services and third-party systems.

The TBA will examine, comprehend, and analyse the company's current business procedures before suggesting enhancements to increase their efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design models and reports to provide insights and interpretation of company data
  • Work closely with business product owners, analysts, and developers
  • Hold meetings to discuss potential solutions and challenges
  • Attend client meetings
  • Utilise data science to identify and analyse problems
  • Ensure the team is focused on delivering each milestone and release on time

  • A good academic background (2:1 or higher in Finance, Business, or IT-related fields)
  • Domain knowledge of capital market asset classes (equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, commodities, etc.)
  • Led projects through the SDLC in the past, either in a technical role or in the Fintech industry
  • Proficiency in implementing Agile techniques
  • A proven track record of successfully completing multiple long-term projects
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise work, and meet strict deadlines.
