This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join the company, working closely with the Managing Director and playing a key role in day-to-day finance operations while supporting ongoing business growth.

What You'll Do

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasts, and financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with VAT, tax filings, and statutory requirements
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning alongside the Managing Director
  • Oversee general office and finance administration
  • Maintain and improve financial systems, processes, and controls
  • Assist with audits and liaise with external accountants and advisors
  • Complete ad hoc tasks to support business and operational needs

About You

  • Experienced Bookkeeper or part-qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or QBE
  • Background in a sole finance role or small business environment is highly desirable
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident working independently and managing competing priorities
  • Strong communicator, comfortable working closely with senior management
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a hands-on approach
