Bookkeeper

Job Description


I'm working with a highly successful, multi-disciplinary accountancy practice to recruit a Bookkeeper. This is an excellent opportunity for someone QBE or IATI-qualified who thrives in a client-facing role and wants to be part of a supportive, collaborative team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Handling day-to-day bookkeeping for a range of clients including invoice processing, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns in line with Making Tax Digital.
  • Supporting clients with financial queries and bookkeeping best practices.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Using cloud-based accounting systems (such as Xero or QuickBooks).

What we're looking for:

  • QBE or IATI qualified with at least 2 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience.
  • Comfortable working with clients and managing multiple deadlines.
  • Experienced in cloud-based software.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Friendly and approachable with a can-do attitude.
