About you

If you are an experienced Bookkeeper and are available to join a thriving retail business to assist during a busy period the following would be suitable qualities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports.
  • Manage payroll processes, including calculations and submissions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles and regulations.
  • Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards.

What you'll do

As a Bookkeeper you will:

  • BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
