Bid Manager (32k - Tyrone - Global & Progression)

VANRATH are delighted to be assisting with a professional construction company who operates all across Ireland and the UK with the Recruitment of a Bid Manager for their Cookstown Office.

This position is full-time permanent based at our Head Office in Cookstown, Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:30pm and Friday 8.30am to 5:00pm.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Managing the full life cycle of the bid process from start to contract award inc commercial tender breakdowns and discussions back to client team
  • Effectively manage the process to achieve a compliant and compelling bid submission
  • Identify biddable opportunities through on-line portals and company websites and update and maintain the Tracker with relevant and most up to date information
  • Analyse and review downloaded PQQs and Tenders to determine if we meet the criteria
  • Prepare and write the quality response to meet the bid criteria within the associated deadline
  • Coordinate PQQ/tender correspondence and clarifications
  • Collation of bid information and create supporting documentation as required
  • Interrogate the commercial, technical and bid submission responses and upload to the Client
  • Encourage an integrated team approach, bringing enthusiasm and energy to the bid process
  • Maintain effective filing system to stay on top of all documentation
  • Assist with the coordination of company media and advertising material with company branding
  • Any other duties as required by management
  • Have a working knowledge of Microsoft project and develop tender bid programmes and update live construction programmes along side Contract Managers
  • Work to tight deadlines and short time scales
