Band 6 QA Pharmacist - HSCNI

I am currently accepting applications from experienced pharmacists (ideally quality assurance but not essential) to support our client within the hospitals.

Principal Duties:

Assess microbiological environmental data to determine compliance of unlicensed aseptic and licensed manufacturing units with relevant standards. To implement corrective actions as necessary.

- Act as a releasing officer for over labelled and pack down products by the Regional NHS Manufacturing Unit

- Participate in the investigation and reporting of defective pharmaceutical and medical and surgical products in accordance with relevant national, regional and local procedures.

- Assist in the risk assessments of unlicensed medicinal products.

The role
This role will be based in Belfast on a full-time basis where you will be working as part of a team & have delegated responsibility or designated aspects of of the Regional Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Service.

Eligibility Criteria

  • MPharm - essential
  • Member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland (PSNI), or eligible for membership
  • Have an understanding of legislation and guidance relevant to GMP.
  • Ability to motivate self and others.
  • Evidence of team working and building working relationships.
  • Have effective communication skills, both oral and written which will meet needs of the post in full.
  • Right to Work in UK/Northern Ireland

Salary
Band 6 £34,000 annual (+ holiday pay + pension & discount benefits)

Band 7 £41,659.00 annual (+ holiday pay + pension & discount benefits)
