Band 5 Dietitian -
Vanrath are delighted to be partnering with HSCNI (Western Trust) to recruit on their behalf a qualified Dietitian to join their team. In this role, you'll manage caseloads and undertake assessments, you will work closely with the specialist multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calculate individial dietary requirements for patients in accordance with their clinical condition, dietetic assessment and applicable evidence based standards.
- Advise and review patients as necessary on the managamenet of their dietary treatment, as per evidence based standards/locally agreed pathway.
- Carry out detailed nutritional assessments, to include the calculation of nutritional requirements based on the interpretation of biochemistry, anthropometry, clinical condition and other physcial parameters.
- Co-ordinate and educate staff to ensure that patients on therapeutic diets receive suitable menus and snacks as advised.
- Monitor and evaluate treatment in order t measure progress and ensure effectivness of the intervention.
Essential Criteria:
- Dietetics Degree (UK recognised)
- HCPC Registered
- Member of BDA
- Hold a current full UK driving licence

Salary:
Salary is in line with the HSCNI BAND 5 pay scale. (+pension & enhanced annual leave).
