Vanrath are recruiting for a Band 4 Community Living Support Worker on behalf of a large public sector company in Antrim on a temporary basis.

The Community Living Support Worker will be primarily responsible for assisting social work managers in the provision of quality social work services to young people within the leaving and after care service. He/She will work within a Children's Services Team and will undertake tasks allocated by the Social Work Team Manager to support social workers in the discharge of their duties. The Community Living Support Worker will also be expected to ensure continuing professional development through training, supervision and learning in line with NISCC registration requirements.
Evening and weekend work will be necessary

About you
NVQ/QCF/RQF Level 3 in a care-related subject* or an educational related subject and 1 years' experience of working with families / children in a formal setting, where the work was regular.
OR
NVQ/QCF/RQF Level 2 in a care-related subject* or an educational related subject and 2 years' experience of working with families / children in a formal setting, where the work was regular
OR
4 GCSEs (Grades A-C) and 3 years' experience of working with families / children in a formal setting, where the work was regular.
*For those who do not hold Level 3, should be willing to complete Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care Support
