A leading Public Sector body based in Belfast are recruiting an Assistant Systems Accountant to join their team for a period of 6 months. The organisation are known for providing their interim contract staff with opportunities to secure permanent contracts.

This is a fantastic foot-in-the-door opportunity with a prestigious public sector body - candidates available at short notice will be at an advantage.

The Ideal Person

If you've 3+ years' experience of working as a Systems Accountant/Finance Analyst:

• Qualified Accounting Technician or Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Strong Excel skills, ability to use analysis tools
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Work on own initiative
• Strong Excel skills

Responsibilities

As a Systems Accountant/Finance Analyst you will be responsible for:

• Development of governance controls
• Extract, manipulate and analyse complex data sets
• Inputting budget information onto accounting system
• Working with wider finance team
