As Assistant Management Accountant, you will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and assist with the preparation of management accounts and reporting. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with monthly management accounts preparation
Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
Performing variance analysis and reporting on key business metrics
Processing journals and maintaining general ledger entries
Managing key elements of month-end and year-end close
Working across departments to support financial decision-making
We're looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow in a busy finance function:
Part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or fully qualified Accounting Technician
2+ years' experience in an accounting or finance support role
Solid understanding of accounting principles and reporting
Experience preparing accounts to trial balance
Strong Excel and systems skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
