VANRATH are delighted to be working with a manufacturing business based in South Belfast who are currently recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of month end management accounts. This will include journal postings, balance sheet reconciliations and general accounts administration.
This is a great opportunity to join a business who operate across Europe within their niche industry sector. Working closely with the Finance Manager, the Assistant Management Accountant will get full exposure to the month end reporting along with experience of leading a small finance team.

The Ideal Person
If you are a Part-Qualified Accountant who is keen to move into a new role:
- Part-Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Manufacturing experience (Desirable)
- Strong IT systems experience
- Excellent technical accounting knowledge
Responsibilities
As an Assistant Management Accountant you will:
- Prepare management reporting
- Control account reconciliations
- Ensure validity of finance systems
- Analyse financial reporting
- Business partnering with operational managers
