Job Description

VANRATH have partnered with a High-end, Luxurious organisation that is looking to attract an Assistant Document Controller who will join the design team, becoming part of a prestigious organisation that continually handles multi-million pound deals and offers one of the most interesting Assistant Document Controller positions in the Country.

The successful candidate will work in the company's very modern Antrim office. Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5.30pm, Friday 8.30am - 3.00pm.

Responsibilities:

Working within the busy Design Department as part of a design team of around 30 individuals. The successful candidate will assist the Senior Document Controller with the effective control of project documentation across all projects

  • Recording flow of
  • Reproduction of drawings and documents (hardcopy and electronic).
  • Registering and distribution of incoming and outgoing drawings and documentation.
  • Quality checking of documentation before distribution to client document management systems.
  • Assisting with production of O&M Manuals.
  • Organising and maintaining the samples library and issuing samples for live
  • Providing administrative support to the Design Team
  • Developing an understanding of 2D and 3D drawing and AutoCAD software through on-the-job training and development and external courses where relevant.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Document Control within a design setting ideal or strong document management skills ideal
  • 2D/3D Drawing understanding preferred
  • CAD understanding preferred
  • Design experience
  • Experience of AutoCAD would be an advantage
  • Admin experience, and IT skills preferred
