Assess and manage product lines by applying structured category management tools, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and supplier innovation.
Develop and present actionable category development plans across departments to drive consistency and performance.
Execute periodic product reviews and refreshes in accordance with internal timelines.
Prepare for seasonal shifts in demand by working collaboratively on stock forecasting strategies.
Monitor product success metrics, including volume, margin, and market share, and take steps to optimise performance.
Conduct competitor benchmarking and supplier cost reviews to sustain a compelling commercial offer.
Secure favourable terms with suppliers, ensuring compliance with internal procurement frameworks and regional guidelines.
Manage promotional pricing levers such as trade deals, discounts, and incentive programs to reinforce brand strength and value.
Minimum 1 year of experience in buying, procurement, or category support within food, retail, or wholesale operations.
Commercially minded with strong numerical and analytical abilities.
Able to interpret trends, assess market dynamics, and make informed buying decisions quickly.
Confident communicator with proven negotiation and relationship-building skills.
