Assistant Accountant

VANRATH are delighted to be working with a reputable engineering company in Omagh who are in search for a Assistant Accountant to join their busy team. This role offers a fantastic exposure to the finance function offering great experience working alongside the Financial Controller.


What you'll do

  • Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
  • VAT returns
  • Year end activities.
  • Management of ledgers
  • Bank reconciliations including multi-currency,
  • Credit control and stock management.
  • Reconciliations across multiple companies

About you

  • Part qualified Accountant, AAT Qualified or qualified by experience
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar industry role.
  • Experience of Sage Line 50/Sage 200/Sage MMS
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience with multi-currencies.
  • Excellent orator with strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
