The Ideal Person
If you are an Assistant Accountant/Assistant Management Accountant;
- At least 2 years' previous experience of working in a financial department
- A minimum of 5 GCSE's, grades A-C, or equivalent, to include Maths and English
- Strong spreadsheet skills, specifically Excel
- Proven record of ability to work to tight deadlines & in a pressurised team-based environment.
Responsibilities
As an Assistant Accountant you will:
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management and statutory accounts
- Fixed assets register maintenance
- Monthly/Quarterly cash flow forecasts
- Bank reconciliations
- Preparation and posting of general ledger journals
- Carrying out Balance sheet/control account reconciliations.
- Intercompany Reconciliations
- Assist the finance accountant in preparation of year end accounts and audit pack
- Supporting Financial Accountant in daily tasks
