About you

  • Currently studying professional exams (CIMA, ACCA), Part-Qualified, or a qualified Accounting Technician,
  • Strong all-round accounts experience across AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end support
  • Confident preparing accounts to Trial Balance level (or ready to progress with guidance)
  • Skilled in Excel (lookups/pivots desirable)
  • Highly organised, detail-driven, and able to manage competing deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

What you'll do

  • Manage Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger
  • Complete bank postings and daily/weekly reconciliations
  • Post month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, and payroll
  • Prepare supporting schedules for VAT returns, cashflow, and payment runs
  • Produce aged creditor/debtor reports and resolve supplier/customer queries
  • Assist the Finance Manager with month-end close and accounts to Trial Balance, including audit support schedules
