VANRATH are delighted to be working with a local SME based in Belfast City Centre who are currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Accounts Assistant will assist contribute to the smooth and effective running of the company's financial and database systems along with the wider finance function.

The Ideal Person

If you are an Accounts Assistant and are immediately available to start;

• 2+ years' experience in a similar role
• Highly organised
• Strong IT skills including MS Excel
• Excellent communication skills
• PowerBI experience (desirable)

Responsibilities

As an Accounts Assistant you will:

• Bank reconciliations
• Credit card reconciliations
• Positing nominal links and holiday accruals
• Reporting and systems maintenance
• Purchase ledger
