Assistant Accountant (Bangor)

The Role
The successful Assistant Accountant will join a close-knit finance team, and be responsible for a number activities daily, which will include:

  • Overseeing the posting of purchase invoices to sage
  • Reconciling supplier statements to accounts
  • Maintaining weekly supplier payment schedule
  • Processing supplier payment and reconciling supplier payments
  • Reconciling control accounts
  • Assisting in month end process
  • Assisting in payroll processing


The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be keen to join a progressive company and further enhance their skillset. Ideally, experience maintaining both purchase and sales ledger and having assisted in the preparation of management accounts. The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • IATI qualified/ part-qualified accountant or QBE
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrable experience of working to tight deadlines
  • Previous experience of assisting in the preparation of management accounts
