What you'll do

This role focuses on processing, accounting, and reporting on payroll, bonuses, and taxes across the EMEA region. It requires a proactive individual with strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills, ensuring efficient and accurate work. The position also involves close collaboration with the finance and HR teams.

  • Manage the end-to-end monthly compensation journal process, including payroll, taxes, benefits, and bonus accruals for EMEA.
  • Assist with payroll tasks such as data uploads to Workday and running monthly reports.
  • Ensure all processes are documented and reviewed for accuracy.
  • Perform and own balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring alignment with relevant records.
  • Provide analysis for cash flow forecasting and support schedules for the monthly balance sheet FSR pack.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts for P&L and balance sheet.
  • Support the delivery of annual statutory accounts for the Group and EMEA-controlled entities.
  • Ensure a robust risk and control framework is in place to support financial processes.
  • Handle compensation-related queries during year-end audits.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the EMEA Finance Team, Group Finance, and external auditors.
  • Undertake other duties as required to support the finance team.

About you

  • Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Accounts Technician.
  • Experience with process change and new reporting.
  • Familiarity with Oracle and Workday (preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, and IFRS.
  • Understanding of effective control environments.
