Application Support Engineer

Job Description

VANRATH are pleased to be working with an exciting new client within the crypotocurrency industry. My client enables partners and clients to deliver new opportunities to their customers through SaaS and API solutions that unlock crypto and drive loyalty, powering engagement and performance.

The Role

  • Implement and oversee robust monitoring systems for continuous tracking of the health and performance of our production systems.
  • Develop and maintain incident response procedures, documentation, and post-incident reviews to enhance system resilience.
  • Collaborate with clients to facilitate a smooth onboarding process onto our systems.
  • Actively engage in process improvement initiatives, suggesting enhancements to monitoring strategies, incident response procedures, and support workflows.

The Ideal Person

  • 2+ years experience working with cloud technologies.
  • Previous experience in an application support, production support or SRE position.
  • Previous experience working with in fintech/ financial service is beneficial.
  • Strong production troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with source control tools, such as GIT.
  • SQL experience is beneficial but not essential.
