VANRATH are recruiting an Application Engineer to provide technical support to our client's customer base and expert guidance to suppliers.

The Package

£40,000 to £50,000 DOE
Mon-Fri
Half Day Friday
30 Days Annual Leave

The Client

Our client are a young and growing company, a specialist supplier of trademarked electronic equipment to the Power industry.

With a small, highly knowledgeable team based at their head offices in Antrim, they have grown year on year since their conception and now have need to expand their team to fulfil on multi-million pound orders.

A strategic need, the Applications Engineer will be provided with a fast track career opportunity to senior management within the next 2 to 3 years.

The Role

  • Resolution of technical queries from both customers and clients
  • Skilled fault finding of equipment with technical solutions
  • Provide technical support and insight to manufacturing departments
  • Assist with conception and implementation of special builds and testing



About You

  • Third level qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Ability to read electronic circuit and wiring diagrams
  • Knowledge of three phase power systems
  • Flexibility to travel to mainland UK intermittently (less than 10%)
