VANRATH are recruiting an Application Engineer to provide technical support to our client's customer base and expert guidance to suppliers.

The Package

£38,000 to £43,000 DOE
Mon-Fri
Half Day Friday
30 Days Annual Leave

The Client

Our client are a specialist supplier of trademarked electrical/electronic components to the telecommunications industry.

With a small, highly knowledgeable team based at their head offices in Antrim, they have grown year on year since their conception and are now in a position to expand their team.

A strategic need, the Applications Engineer will be provided with a fast track career opportunity to senior management within the next 2 to 3 years.

The Role

  • Resolution of technical queries from both customers and clients
  • Skilled fault finding of equipment with technical solutions
  • Provide technical support and insight to manufacturing departments
  • Assist with conception and implementation of special builds and testing



About You

  • Third level qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Ability to read electronic circuit and wiring diagrams
  • Knowledge of three phase power systems
  • Flexibility to travel to mainland UK intermittently (less than 10%)
