Administrator with reception duties

Vanrath are excited to be recruiting for an Administrator with reception duties on behalf of a regulatory company within the Belfast area on an ongoing temporary basis.

  • Full time Monday - Thursday 9am to 5pm and Friday 9am to 4:30pm
  • Temp, ongoing
  • Hourly rate to be confirmed
  • 25 days AL, with 10 stat days

The purpose of this role is to contribute to the smooth and effective operation of the organisation by providing cross-departmental administrative support.

What you'll do Reception duties including but not limited to:

  • answering calls and switchboard operation
  • meeting and greeting visitors.
  • incoming and outgoing post
  • monitoring of email inboxes
  • arranging catering
  • raising purchase orders
  • assisting with large mailouts
  • scanning
  • photocopying
  • typing
  • electronic filing
  • ordering of office consumables
  • Daily administrative assistance to other departments as required.
  • Any other duties as assigned by line manager.

About you

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • At least 5 GCSE's (grade C or above) including Mathematics and English
  • Organised and determined to succeed in a professional office environment, always willing to help and learn new skills
  • Good timekeeping and positive attitude to work
