Job Description

VANRATH are delighted to be assisting our client who specialise in Powder Coating based in Newtownabbey with the Recruitment of a Admin Scheduler.

Salary - £24,000 - £26,000

Working Hours - Monday - Thursday 8am-4.45pm and Friday 8am-3.15pm

Job Purpose -

To schedule customers work in conjunction with the galvanising production manager & operations manager, in line with company Service level agreements and available capacity

Providing an effective professional and courteous customer service.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Responsible for :

1. Customer order processing - including data entry & order approval

2. Scheduling Customers Orders - working closely with production manager/yard supervisor, the Transport Manager and the Sales Team to balance customer requirements with production capacity and operational efficiencies

3. Close coordination with the Transport Manager to support the balancing of customer requirements with optimising the daily transport plan / efficiencies

4. Customer order query handling (order amendments)

5. General customer queries - phone/email

6. Complaint handling - receiving and passing on to relevant dept

7. Filing of orders in a timely and accurate manner

8. Communicate and provide information by relevant methods internally and externally to assist and facilitate efficient organisational operations and processes

9. Maintain excellent relations with existing and potential new customers

10. Answer incoming calls in a professional, timely and accurate manner.

11. Servicing customers / visitor / drivers presenting at the front reception area to include: Confirmation on induction register or prompt induction, Providing PODs and handle payments, deal with queries or redirect if necessary

12. To carry out other duties and reasonable requests as identified by management, including assisting other personnel with workloads and covering for holidays / absenteeism
