About you

As the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be responsible for managing the billing and collections process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing the accounts receivable team, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
  • Overseeing the billing and invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitoring customer accounts for payment discrepancies.
  • Developing and implementing effective collections strategies to maximise cash flow and reduce outstanding balances.
  • Conducting regular credit assessments and setting appropriate credit limits.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve billing disputes and customer issues.
  • Analysing and reporting on accounts receivable performance, including aged debt reports and key metrics.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable function.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as an Accounts Receivable Manager or in a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes & credit management.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
