As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a vital role in the accurately and timely reporting for internal and external clients. Working with the Team Lead, the successful individual will help with process improvement and streamlining all reporting and transactional processes.

What you'll do


As an Accounts Payable Specialist, the successful Candidate will carry out a number of transactional authorisations to ensure timely processing for all clients. Moreover, you will be providing detailed financial information to the senior management team. You will be responsible for the following:

  • Obtaining appropriate authorisations prior to transaction processing;
  • Data entry onto the finance system
  • Dealing with telephone enquiries and queries
  • Providing general support to the team
  • Providing detailed financial information
  • Appropriate electronic filing of all documentation
  • Dealing with miscellaneous duties to assist in the smooth running of the department
  • Establishing effective relationships with stakeholders
  • Contributing to the overall success of the Accounts Payable team, promoting and maintaining a positive work environment

About you
The ideal candidate will have previous experience liaising with senior team members and have previously worked in a professional services environment. Moreover, ideally we would lie the successful candidate to have had prior experience in a fast-paced finance pr administrative based role. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent (including at least a Grade B in English and Maths)
  • Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Excellent communicator
  • Delivers tasks in a professional and organised way with limited supervision;
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines;
  • Ability to complete tasks to a high standard with a keen eye for accuracy;
