Are you an experienced Accounts professional with an in-depth knowledge of the Accounts Payable process? Are you interested in taking on a challenging new role? A major distribution organisation based in Newry are going through a significant period of transition and require an additional Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team.

Client

VANRATH are pleased to be working with a distribution organisation who are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team on an interim contract. This role can offer an experienced finance professional the next step in their career. The candidate will be required to support the implementation of a new ERP system and accurately check and input invoices.

The Ideal Person

If you've 2+ years' experience of working as an Accounts Payable clerk and are interested in such a role:

  • Strong AP knowledge
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work at high level of accuracy

Responsibilities

As an Accounts Payable Clerk you will be responsible for:

  • Inputting and processing purchase invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Dealing with supplier queries and credit claims
  • Coding and processing of purchase invoices
