VANRATH are delighted to be partnered with a leading business based in Belfast who are currently recruiting an Accounts Payable professional to join their team. This is an ideal role for an AP professional who is comfortable working within a busy Accounts Payable environment.

The Ideal Person

If you have a minimum 1+ years' experience in busy finance function;

  • Strong AP knowledge
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to work at a high level of accuracy


Responsibilities

As a Finance Assistant within the Accounts Payable team, you will ensure high quality services are provided to both internal and external clients on a timely basis. You will also work with the Team Lead to continually strive to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the reporting systems and transactional processes, in addition to working with and supporting the appropriate Accounts Payable team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of work in accordance with pre-determined metrics.

As an Accounts Payable professional, you will be responsible for:

  • Obtaining appropriate authorisations prior to transaction processing
  • Acting as a point of contact and handle queries
  • Data entry onto the finance system
  • Providing detailed financial information
  • Contributing to the overall success of the Accounts Payable team, promoting and maintaining a positive work environment.
