Accounts Assistant (Recruitment, Belfast)

We are currently recruiting for a highly competent Accounts Assistant, whose primary focus will be to assist the Payroll Manager and Financial Controller with administrative support for the company finance function.

Full training around accounts and payroll will be provided and should be seen as an opportunity to take a step into the world of accountancy.

Responsibilities

  • Timely and accurate processing of invoices
  • Setting up of new supplier accounts
  • Updating supplier accounts
  • Completing payments runs
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Creating credit notes for clients
  • Assisting with month end reporting
  • Assist the Payroll manager with running of monthly Payroll
  • Standing orders - Process and forward all forms to appropriate banks
  • Manual input of all expenses onto the database
  • Business Card payment processing
  • Other adhoc duties
