Job Description

VANRATH are looking to for an experience Accounts Assistant to join a growing finance function based in Larne. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a varied role that will also be responsible for the accounts payable function.

What you'll do

  • Processing purchase invoices and ensuring supplier invoices are entered on time
  • Assist with preparing monthly payment runs
  • Run reports for senior management, including VAT reconciliations and aged creditor reviews
  • Communicating directly with suppliers to obtain statements, invoices, bank details
  • Deal with queries in a timely manner both internally and externally
  • Assist with the reconciliations of daily, monthly, and yearly transactions
  • Monthly supplier payment run
  • Allocate payments to supplier accounts

About you

* GCSE Maths & English Grade A-C Experience

* 2 years' experience in a finance

* Experience processing a high volume of purchase invoicing

* Excellent communication skills

* Excellent attention to detail, organisational and prioritising skills
