A well established financial services company, operating in the capital markets industry, are recruiting 2 Accounts Assistants to join their team on an initial interim contract for 6 months, with an option to extend or become permanent (based on performance).

VANRATH are delighted to be working with a well established financial services business based in the Lisburn area who are currently recruiting an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team.
The Ideal Person
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role
- Payroll role experience desirable
- Qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field (e.g., AAT, ACCA part-qualified) is desirable.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Process invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and in a timely manner.
- Weekly and monthly payroll function
- Maintain and reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and month-end accounts.
- Support bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
- Handle queries from suppliers and customers regarding payments and invoices.
- Assist in payroll processing and maintain related records.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.
