The Role
A varied role, which will support the senior finance team in the day-to-day running of an incredibly busy commercial business. The successful Accounts Assistant will play a key role as our client undergoes a huge period of growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Assistance with month ending reporting/reconciliations.
  • processing invoices, payment runs and supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Assisting with cost accounting and maintenance of production order handling and inventory systems.
  • Assistance with management of cash flow and accounting transactions including the reconciliation of bank accounts and cash books.
  • Credit control management.
  • Assisting with processing of employee expenses.
  • Compliance with financial policies and regulations.

The Ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role and have previously worked with a bespoke ERP system.

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role or a recent graduate
  • Ideally, have experience within the manufacturing or hospitality industry.
  • Excellent IT Literacy (MS Excel, PPT, Word) with spreadsheet and database skills.
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
