VANRATH is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a dynamic finance team based in Antrim. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including overseeing the accounts payable function.

Responsibilities:
- Process purchase invoices promptly and accurately
- Aid in the preparation of monthly payment schedules
- Generate reports for senior management, including VAT reconciliations and aged creditor analyses
- Directly engage with suppliers to obtain statements, invoices, and bank details
- Address queries in a timely manner, both internally and externally
- Assist in reconciling daily, monthly, and yearly transactions
- Execute monthly supplier payment runs
- Allocate payments to supplier accounts
About you:
- GCSE Maths & English Grade A-C or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a finance role
- Proficiency in handling a high volume of purchase invoicing
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, organisational abilities, and prioritisation skills
