As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a critical role in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping for our operations.

About you

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions specific to the hospitality industry.
  • Processing invoices, vendor payments, and reconciling statements.
  • Coordinating with various departments to resolve billing discrepancies or issues.
  • Assisting in monitoring and maintaining accurate records of daily revenue and sales.
  • Performing regular bank reconciliations and cash management activities.
  • Assisting in preparing financial reports, including P&L statements and balance sheets.
  • Assisting in month-end and year-end financial closing processes.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree preferred
  • Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant in the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
