An expanding organisation based in Mallusk is currently recruiting an Accounts Administrator to join their team on a part-time temporary basis.

The business is now seeking to recruit a temporary, part-time accounts administrator who will report to the Accounts Manager. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of duties to include general accounts functions, purchase ledger and credit control.


  • Posting of purchase ledger transactions to supplier accounts.
  • Liaising with branches and suppliers to resolve purchase ledger queries.
  • Purchase ledger maintenance.
  • Reconciliation of supplier accounts.
  • Contacting customers to collect payments and maintaining accurate credit control information when updating ledgers.
  • Daily reconciliations of payments and updating ledgers.
  • Processing of remittance advice notes.
  • Any other duties as may be deemed appropriate to the post.
  • Other duties as required.

Salary/ Benefits

In order to attract the very best talent on the market a generous remuneration package is on offer based on experience including:

  • Salary starting at £22K (Pro rata) or £11.44p/hr
  • Part-time - 25 hours per week, flexible

The Ideal Person

  • Experience working in an accounts role, and in dealing with sales/ purchase ledger
  • Capable of processing information accurately and efficiently
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Effective communication skills
  • Attention to detail
