About you
- Qualified Accounting Technician (ATI / AAT)
- Proven experience in a busy finance environment
- Strong understanding of ledgers, reconciliations, and month-end processes
- Excellent Excel skills and strong competency across Microsoft Office
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Confident working independently and collaboratively within a team
What you'll do
- Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the core activities of the central finance function, including:
- Managing purchase and sales ledger processing, reconciliations, and supplier payments
- Overseeing bank reconciliations, lodgements, and supporting cashflow management
- Assisting with month-end processes, including reconciliations, journals, and reporting
- Preparing audit documentation and supporting compliance requirements
- Maintaining accurate financial records and contributing to ongoing process improvements
- Supporting general office administration such as scanning, filing, and occasional reception cover
