Job description

A business in the hospitality industry is seeking a Part-Time (30 hours) Administrator with an awareness of Accounts processes and great people skills. The successful applicant will have ideally worked in an accounts office role (or have an understanding of account processes) and be a real people-person!

The role primarily involves Accounts Administration and customer service in a friendly and leisurely hospitality environment. Applicants with previous experience in these environments are strongly encouraged to apply!

Desirable Applicant Criteria:

  • Previous experience working in an accounts office role; bank reconciliations and cash handling, payroll and paye (small volume), able to use or learn to use financial software.
  • Previous hospitality experience (or just good with people!): first point of contact for new customers- face 2 face and via phone.
  • Strong customer service representative - warm and friendly demeanour
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in IT: able to use computers confidently and pick up software, send emails, set appointments ect
  • Good phone etiquette

Key aspects of role (to demonstrate to employer):

  • Admin (some finance admin)

  • IT skills - Microsoft office and easily pick up new software systems
