Our client is a well-known Belfast based firm looking for an Accounts Admin to join their team and provide valuable support in overseeing their financial operations. As an Accounts Administrator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our client's accounting functions.

What you'll do:

  • Effectively manage accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including invoice processing, payment collection, and reconciliations.
  • Regularly perform data entry duties and diligently address any discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to promptly resolve invoicing or payment-related issues.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes with utmost efficiency.
  • Aid in budget tracking, expense analysis, and financial forecasting.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries promptly and resolve any billing discrepancies efficiently.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, such as filing, data management, and document preparation.
  • Support the finance team by actively participating in ad-hoc projects and tasks

About you

  • Preferred bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven track record as an Accounts Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.
  • Strong organisational skills and effective time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently to meet deadlines.
