What you will do

As an Accounting Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients and contributing to the success of our practice. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for numbers and a desire to work in a family-friendly atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping and Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients using accounting software.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Accounts Preparation:

Assist in the preparation of financial statements for clients.

Collaborate with senior accountants to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reports.

VAT Returns and Tax Compliance:

Prepare and submit VAT returns in a timely manner.

Support in tax compliance activities, liaising with clients and relevant authorities.

Client Communication:

Foster positive relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service.

Address client queries and concerns in a professional and friendly manner.

Support Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals.

Contribute to a positive and inclusive work culture

About you:

  • AAT qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
