Accounting Technician

About you
- Qualified Accounting Technician (ATI / AAT)
- Proven experience working in a busy finance department
- Strong understanding of month-end processes, ledgers, and reconciliations
- Excellent Excel and general Microsoft Office skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and time management
- Confident working both independently and as part of a team
What you'll do
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the central finance department, including:
- Assisting with month-end reconciliations, journals, and reporting
- Managing purchase and sales ledger transactions, reconciliations, and supplier payments
- Overseeing bank reconciliations, lodgements, and cashflow management
- Supporting with audit preparation, reporting, and financial documentation
- Maintaining accurate accounting records and contributing to process improvements
- Assisting with general office administration, including scanning, filing, and reception duties when required
