About you

  • Qualified Accounting Technician (ATI / AAT)
  • Proven experience working in a busy finance department
  • Strong understanding of month-end processes, ledgers, and reconciliations
  • Excellent Excel and general Microsoft Office skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and time management
  • Confident working both independently and as part of a team

What you'll do

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the central finance department, including:

  • Assisting with month-end reconciliations, journals, and reporting
  • Managing purchase and sales ledger transactions, reconciliations, and supplier payments
  • Overseeing bank reconciliations, lodgements, and cashflow management
  • Supporting with audit preparation, reporting, and financial documentation
  • Maintaining accurate accounting records and contributing to process improvements
  • Assisting with general office administration, including scanning, filing, and reception duties when required
