Accounting Technician


VANRATH is pleased to be working with a well-known business, who are keen to attract a talented Accounting Technician to join an already established finance function. Our client is growing rapidly due to organic growth, and can offer a dynamic environment for the successful candidate to further grow their their skill set and enhance their career. The successful candidate will report directly to the FC.

What you'll do
The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the close-knit finance team and play a pivotal role in the day to day running of the finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Processing of VAT returns (UK)
  • Assisting with standardised processes and operations
  • Knowledge of inter-company transactions
  • Facilitate the annual audit
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Assisting the FC with business processes


The Ideal Person
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years' experience in a busy finance department and ideally meet the following criteria:

  • Part- Qualified Accountant, Qualified Account Technician (IATI or ATT) or qualified by experience
  • Ability to prioritise deadlines
  • Team player
